In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, the Chamber of Gipuzkoa acknowledges itself as Data Controller and undertakes to process personal data in accordance with regulatory requirements and the risks associated with such processing.

To ensure the proper management of personal data, all Chamber of Gipuzkoa staff involved in processing are aware of the established data-protection policies, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the data.

2. Purpose and duration of processing

Whenever the Chamber of Gipuzkoa requests your personal data, it will expressly inform you of the purpose of the processing for which you give your consent. For other purposes, such as sending information about its activities, your prior express consent will be requested. The duration of processing is indefinite unless you exercise your right to erasure, in which case your data will be deleted except for data that must be retained by legal obligation.

3. Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing is your own consent. For the primary purpose (providing the requested service), your refusal prevents the service from being provided; for the secondary purpose (sending commercial information), you must consent expressly and voluntarily.

4. Recipients of your data

The Chamber of Gipuzkoa does not intend to transfer your data to third parties. It may engage service providers that involve access to data (data processors), always with the safeguards of Articles 28 and 29 of the European Regulation.

5. Rights regarding processing

6. Source of the data

The origin of the personal data processed is the data subject, their legal representative or the person they expressly authorise. The categories of data correspond to identifying, economic, commercial, academic and professional data, and in general any data not considered specially protected.
